AIPP & RNIP

AIPP and RNIP are two immigration programs in Canada that are designed to help address the country’s labor market needs by attracting skilled foreign workers to fill job vacancies. The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) is a regional immigration program that allows employers in Canada’s Atlantic provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador) to recruit and hire foreign workers for positions that they have been unable to fill locally. The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) is a community-driven program that aims to help small and remote communities in Canada’s rural and northern regions to attract and retain skilled workers. Under RNIP, eligible communities are designated as immigration pilot communities, and employers in those communities can hire foreign workers who meet specific eligibility criteria. Both AIPP and RNIP offer pathways to permanent residency for foreign workers and their families who meet certain requirements.
