The British Columbia International Post-Graduate stream is a component of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), which is operated by the province of British Columbia. This stream prioritizes the nomination of individuals who have recently completed graduate-level education from an eligible British Columbia institution. Successful candidates who are nominated through the BC International Graduate program will be invited to submit a formal application for Canadian permanent residency.
Candidates are not required to have an Express Entry profile to be eligible for this stream, but those who meet the eligibility criteria and have an active Express Entry profile may benefit from accelerated processing through the Express Entry system. Additionally, candidates with experience in designated tech occupations may be eligible for further acceleration and benefit through the BC Tech Pilot program.
