The Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project, a component of the Saskatchewan Experience stream within the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), is a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) administered by the Government of Saskatchewan. This program is designed to attract candidates who are already employed in the hospitality sector in the province of Saskatchewan and have secured a full-time job offer to continue working in this industry.
Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project Program Requirements
The eligibility criteria for the Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project, a stream of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), are as follows:
Note: If the candidate is not currently employed in Saskatchewan, they can still apply as a Food/Beverage Server if they can provide proof of previous work experience of at least six months in Saskatchewan in the same occupation.
Please note that the SINP is testing criteria changes for specific semi-skilled occupations over the period of 2019-2021.
Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project Application Procedure
The Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project Stream welcomes applications from eligible candidates on a continuous basis through the SINP Online Portal. This program does not incur any application fee. Upon approval of the application by the province, the applicant will receive official notification of provincial nomination via email. This signifies eligibility for submitting a federal application for Canadian permanent residency. A six-month time frame is allotted to the applicant for submission of their permanent residency application, which must be completed and submitted in paper-format and mailed to the designated application center. The processing time for paper-based PNP applications for permanent residency is typically 18 months.
